At the July '09 meeting of the Southwest Florida Corvette Club, AutoQuest was presented with a beautiful plaque for our efforts with the Harry Chapin Food Bank. The drive so far this year has produced 504 pounds of food and $1,300 in cash donations.
Fred Richards, the Director of Development for Harry Chapin graciously thanked everyone for all of their hard work to date and encouraged us to continue the food drive. While explaining the wholesale purchasing operations of the Food Bank, Mr. Richards commented that Harry Chapin is able to turn every one dollar of charitable giving into six dollars of wholesale food!
AutoQuest has extended its efforts on behalf of the Food Bank through December. Just bring the Harry Chapin coupon on the Home Page of our Website to dealership. For each test drive, AutoQuest will contribute $25 and if you purchase a car, AutoQuest will donate $250 to the Food Bank in your name!
